What is Tor?

Tor was initially a worldwide network of servers developed with the U.S. Navy that enabled people to browse the internet anonymously. Now, it's a non-profit organization whose main purpose is the research and development of online privacy tools. Read more or watch animation video.

How Tor works?

The Tor network disguises our identity by moving our traffic across different Tor servers, and encrypting that traffic so it isn't traced back to us. Anyone who tries would see traffic coming from random nodes on the Tor network from all over the world, rather than your computer.Read more

Just import (.ova) to your favorite VMWare Player or ESXi and then run the Onion Control tool (/root/onionctrl reconfigure) for interface configuration (usally autostarts), and set up your default gateway of your PC and DNS to the Onion Gateway.
